IABC Members-Exclusive Business Breakfast hosted by Australian Charge D'Affaires to Indonesia Ms Gita Kamath and Australian Ambassador to ASEAN Ms Tiffany McDonald
We had the pleasure of partnering with AustCham ASEAN, IA-CEPA ECP Katalis, and the Australian Embassy, Indonesia in hosting a Members-Exclusive Business Breakfast focused on “The Australia–Indonesia Investment Relationship: Perceptions, Policy, and Progress,” on Wednesday, 12/11. We extend our deep gratitude to the Australian Chargé d’Affaires to Indonesia, Ms. Gita Kamath, and the Australian Ambassador to ASEAN, Ms. Tiffany McDonald, for kindly hosting this event.
The event centered on the combined findings of AustCham ASEAN’s Australian Business in ASEAN Survey 2025 and Katalis’ Unlocking Indonesia–Australia Investment report, which reflect continued strong confidence in our economic partnership. These findings were effectively presented by Paul Bartlett, Director of Katalis, following a foreword by Peter Fanning, AustCham ASEAN Director for Indonesia.
We were privileged to have influential figures share their perspectives, including Bapak Todotua Pasaribu, Vice Minister of Ministry of Investment and Downstream Industry / Indonesia Investment Coordinating Board (BKPM); Prof Jennifer Westacott AC, Chancellor of Western Sydney University and Australia’s Business Champion to Indonesia, and Bapak Nurul Ichwan, Deputy for Investment Promotion, BKPM.
Thank you to all IABC members attending. We look forward to having more of these important dialogues to continue strengthening the Indonesia–Australia economic partnership.
